It is a daffodil with small blue and pink flowers around it. It is really neat! I got it done by a professional artist. She is moving to Swift Current and works out of her home in Barrington and so I decided to go for it before it was too late.

Right on the top of my foot! Yes it was on my bucket list. Actually it was a 40th gift to me from me but because of the marathon, I had to wait till after it was over. Didn't want to take any chances or interrupt my training.

Thanks. All I wanted for this one was to be faster than last year, test my early-season fitness, and have fun. Check, Check and Check. I'm really glad you had a good time (in both senses of the word). 2 minutes on that course means you've made big improvements since Greenwood. Pat yourself on the back!

I can barely walk - my quads are not happy but it is all about recovery. I guess all the little fibers are working away to repair themselves. My mom did really well and placed first in her age category with a time of 4:24. How are you feeling?

You must be pleased with your time Angela! Two minutes off a 10km is a huge improvement and not only that, in my opinion the 10km is much more difficult than the half marathon because of the hills! I ran it last year and found it was the hardest 10km course I've ever done. Congratulations - you should be proud!!!

I'm feeling fairly well. A little tired, but otherwise ok. I was trying for under 2, but didn't quite make it. I have a list of things to change for the next time, so it should be better. My son is wanting me to do a 10 miler in Elmsdale June 6, so I'm going to try to recover for that. Should be challenging.

Great time yesterday! You can be proud! You're a real runner!

Thanks Angela!
I did it in under 2 hours, and was feeling great at the end! It was the most awesome experiance I've had so far! I will be doing it again, I'm sure. The thing that really helped me was running with a "pace rabbit"
How did you do on your run? There were certainly lots of people cheering us on! Just an incredible experiance.

I had the goal of finishing upright and smiling and I did it. I feel pretty good today and have an appt for a massage soon. You did so well Angela. You must be very pleased. I think you took some lessons from your Greenwood experience and put them to work. I am so proud of all the RAV runners- susan Carbyn and her mother both qualified for Boston. Wow!

Hey thanks Angela. And congrats to your too! 2 minutes faster than Greenwood? Great job! How was it? Did you enjoy the atmosphere?

They almost always have both at the races - gatorade and water. Would suck to wear a water belt if you ask me. As for white legs, we all have them right now unless we were lucky enough to go south. You won't care what color your legs are when you are out racing - you will care if you are too hot and overheated!!!! Go with the shorts!!!!!
